What are your expectations for the transfer window and next season?
Mine are...

Sign some scouts! Start building a scouting network.

Keep Rice. Buy proper full backs. Increase the quality depth of the squad. Use Diangana.

Sell Fredericks, Masuaku, Lanzini and Ajeti. Release Wilshere.

If good offers come in for Anderson, Haller and Yarmolenko then cash in.

Stop signing over the hill has beens and concentrate on younger players who take the step up when signing for us not the step down!

Bowen and Soucek were very good signings and that bodes well for future signings (fingers crossed)

Next season my hopes are simply not getting into another relegation battle! I don't ask for much. Oh and respect the fucking cups please.

transfers? 😂

rice going to pay for soucek & bowen. any other signings will be paid for by weakening other areas of the team, it's how they recruit players

The very idea of next season makes me feel unwell.

While the SPIVS are here my expectations ain’t good. After 30 years of running football teams. They have proven time and again that they are unwilling. Or incapable of learning how to build a solid foundation for a professional football team.

Well Moyes just said we’ll try and sign players but if not we’ll go with what we’ve got. If we don’t get at least 5 staters then we’ll go down. This myth that we shouldn’t be where we are from pundits drives me nuts. We have one the worse back 4’s in the league and up till January had a weak as fuck midfield and the forward we have in Haller isn’t worth a wank. And they’ll be equally as shit next year cos that’s what they are, shit players.

Re: What are your expectations for the transfer window and next season?
We need a keeper and a LB for sure. I see Antonio as a CF now so him and Haller along with Hugill and Ajeti/Silva should be ok. Ben Johnson should be first choice RB with Fredericks as second choice. We need to unload some deadweights too.

But honestly our squad isn’t that bad some players just need a kick up the arse.

Irrespective of change of players I expect a season of bottom half table activity.

Low

Moyes is a success if we are not in a relegation scrap based on money he will have.

Keeping Rice.

Offloading Anderson.

Spending all of the Anderson money on new players (it will help if we can rip someone off and get them to pay more than he's worth, as we can't get much for an old programme and a nearly out-of-date can of stadium sausages).

Re: What are your expectations for the transfer window and next season?
In a normal summer window we’d have a job on our hands, given everything going on we need a miracle.

In an ideal world I’d wanna shift Anderson, Haller, Lanzini, Wilshere, Ajieti, Masuaka and Balbuena,
Just the first two would be a start.
I think we need about 5 new players but there’s no chance of that happening.

Re: What are your expectations for the transfer window and next season?
I just can't see there being wholesale changes, as much as I'd love that to be the case.

I'd try to offload Diop and Balbuena, realistically I think we could shift those 2 for half decent dough, and buy 2 new centre halfs and a left back. That is absolutely essential for me. Ideally a better back up right back than Fredericks, but it means selling him, which I doubt there will be takers.

If we could somehow manage to sell a couple of Anderson, Lanzini and Haller then we can look at improving up top, but I can't see it happening. Ajeti we could probably sell, and get a better back up striker, or maybe Hugill can do the job.

Re: What are your expectations for the transfer window and next season?
As I predicted Fabianski's form would go down the pan with age and injury.

He had a good season before this one but he has cost us a number of vital points in this campaign.

He is past his peak and needs to be replaced.

He cost us the Liverpool game, and he should've made that save today.

What other points has he cost us?

Not as dominant. Needs replacing.

“Stop signing over the hill has beens and concentrate on younger players who take the step up when signing for us not the step down!“

This has to be the biggest change to the culture of the club. I don’t want players taking a step down to join us. Lacking motivation and just seeing out a big chunky contract.

Young hungry footballers who want to progress to even bigger than us.

Re: What are your expectations for the transfer window and next season?
I get the concern with Fabianski, I mean the difference in performances less than a year ago is a worry. But there are more pressing concerns I’d have thought than replacing him.

Sign Lee Trundle and get that Shaun Wright-Phillips medical over the line. We still have some Carrick money to get this sorted.

No he doesn't, he's a brilliant goalkeeper, and he'll be our no.1 next season luckily for us.
